Promoting Disaster Ready Inclusive Preparedness Towards Adaptation (PRODRIPTA) Phase II

Project Objectives

1. Increased community participation in disaster preparedness & response activities. 2.Increased preparedness of vulnerable communities to mitigate risks and respond to shocks & stresses. 3.Civil society and community groups have the capacity to assess disaster risk in their locality and formulate solutions, and engage with the disaster management service providers. 4.Enhanced DRR capacity at service provider level, through civil society support. 5.Wider acceptance and adoption of the devised plans and availing services from agencies. 6.Increased community knowledge on DRR/Adaptation.

To foster inclusive community preparedness and resilience through the combination of disaster-ready. Communities and accountable institutions in the northern char district of Gaibandha
