Biogas and Bio-fertilizer Project

Project Objectives

Improving the quality of life of the rural people by setting up environment friendly biogas plants, for example, fuel gas and organic fartilizers are produced from cow dung. On the one hand, it meets the demand for cooking fuel gas, on the other hand, the use of organic fertilizers instead of chemical fertilizers maintains the balance of the environment. The people of this country will enjoy the benefits and through this project the image of the government of Bangladesh in the world will be brightened.

Expected Outcomes

SDRS has been setting up biogas plants and biofertilizers in Gaibandha, Bogura, Gazipur, Cumilla and Lakshmipur districts since 2014 as a partner organization of IDCOL for the implementation of Bio-gas Plant and Biofertilizer Project under the Rural Infrastructure Maintenance Program.
