Project Objectives

Empower farmers in Bangladesh to increase the profitability of vegetable production through responsible practices, reduced post-harvest losses, ensured food safety, and access to lucrative markets.

Expected Outcomes

To enable 5,000 farmers, including 50% women, to double their income and improve their livelihoods by organizing them for more efficient crop programming, input and service supply, and increased bargaining power. Additionally, the project aims to certify 1,000 vegetable producers (50% women) with Global GAP standards and create 62 permanent, formal jobs (30% women) in the supply chain to deliver food-safe vegetables to formal buyers.
