The mission of KOINONIA is to enhance capacity and opportunity of the poor, vulnerable people, communities through the initiatives and support of appropriate development services, establish their self-governed community-based institutions and networks do advocacy for influencing policies and decision affecting their lives and livelihood.
We envision that all People establish their human rights, live in dignity and harmony as Children of God, being free from poverty, injustice and discrimination.
KOINONIA was formed in 1983 by the National Christian Fellowship of Bangladesh (NCFB) as its caring arm to serve the poor and the marginal people of Bangladesh irrespective of caste, creed and culture. a) Love the neighbor. b) Demonstrate love of God. c) Partnership with other NGOs. d) Share resources to mitigate sufferers. e) Bring changes in the lives of the people served f) Dedicate services as our uniqueness. g) Cooperation and community-based initiatives.
